Balancing everyday spending and saving can be challenging but it doesn’t have to be with RoundUp at Patelco.
Whether you’re buying groceries, filling up your car, or making a bill payment, you’ll automatically save money every time you use your Patelco debit Mastercard® once you enroll.
We’ll round up the change to the nearest dollar and transfer to your savings, automatically. Plus, you have the option to fast track your savings even further by boosting your round up three or five times the amount. Think of how all of the change can add up from all of your purchases!

RoundUp is available in Patelco Online™ or the Mobile App. From the main menu navigate to Rewards & Wellness, then RoundUp. Select your eligible checking account and preferred boost (1x, 3x, or 5x). Hint: opt for a 3x or 5x boost to maximize your savings. Then select your preferred savings account, agree to the terms and that’s it! You’re ready to round up!
Every time you use your Patelco Debit Mastercard® linked to your enrolled checking account, we’ll automatically round up to the nearest dollar (or boosted amount) and transfer the difference from your checking to your savings of your choice. So, if you spend $5.75 at the coffee shop, we’ll transfer $0.25 into your savings. If you make multiple purchases in one day, we will aggregate the rounded amounts from all purchases each business day and make a single transfer to your savings account at the end of the business day.
Boosting is a great way to save a little more with each purchase. Boost multiplies the amount. For example: Let’s say you spend $4.25 on gourmet coffee. Here’s how much you’d save from this one purchase depending on the boosted amount: 1x: $0.75 3x: $2.25 5x: $3.75 With boost, your saving opportunity accelerates! You can also change your boost at any time if for certain months you want to maximize your roundup amount or save a little less.
Yes! In Patelco Online™ or the Mobile App you can view all your individual roundup transactions and savings since enrollment. Tap on Rewards & Wellness then RoundUp.
