You can reach your goal of paying off credit card balances faster and save on interest. Paying off high interest rate credit cards with your Patelco card is a simple way to consolidate your debt into one manageable payment.

Plus, unlike other banks, we don’t charge balance transfer fees. The process is easy, and just takes a few steps.

How to request a balance transfer online

Have your credit card account number and the payment address handy as you get started.

To request a balance transfer:

1. Log in to Patelco Online™
2. In the main menu, hover over Card Services
3. Select Balance Transfer
4. Answer a few questions and then select Submit

You can review the status of your transfer by selecting Card Services from the main menu, then Balance Transfers, and then View Submitted Forms.

How to request a balance transfer in a branch

While transferring balances online is the preferred and fastest method, you can set up a balance transfer at a branch.

To request a balance transfer:

1. Schedule an appointment at your local branch.
2. Be sure to bring the account information for the existing cards you want to pay off. A recent statement is most useful.
3. With in-person balance transfer requests, you will be issued cashier’s checks to mail to your credit card companies.
